Title: Sales Executive

Job Description:

As a Nexus Sales Executive you will be responsible for strategically identifying, prospecting and growing business accounts primarily within Calgary; but also other key markets within Alberta and Saskatchewan. You will call on prospective customers who market their company and services/products through tradeshows, targeting Oil & Gas, Agriculture and other industries.
 
Calling on communication and marketing departments, you will analyze customer needs, identify and customize products and services to win accounts. You will be generating appointments through cold calling, and winning new business accounts to achieve all sales quotas.

You must have the proven ability to effectively build and manage a client portfolio. As a professional consultant,  you will work side by side with prospective customers to analyze their display and tradeshow needs, and propose solutions that best fit their needs.

Basic qualifications include:

• Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving history
• Verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience within the tradeshow, design, signage or agency  environment
• Experience in cold calling/prospecting new clients
• Experience in preparing, delivering, and following-up on product proposals and quotations
• Experience in a vertical selling approach to Oil & Gas, Energy, Agriculture and/or  Manufacturing
• Experience in tracking customer sales information, forecasting & reporting using related CRM software
• Presentation, organization and communications skills with an aptitude for attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications include:
College/University degree.

• Minimum 3 years sales experience within the tradeshow, design, signage or agency industries
• Strong track record in business prospecting and closing sales
• Knowledge of the tradeshow, advertising or design industry.

FABRICATION & INSTALLATION SPECIALIST (Cabinetmaker/Carpenter)

Responsibilities:

•  Work from blue prints, Nexus designs, sketches, and verbal instructions to fabricate all items for our custom/modular exhibits
•  Use all stationary power tools, circular saws, drills, hand and portable tools in the construction of all projectsBe prepared to work at our Nexus shop, as well as on the exhibit   floor when necessary
•  Be able to work with all exhibit material including wood, metal, plastics, sintra, foam board (gator foam), plastic laminates, fasteners, adhesives, paints, etc.
•  Maintain the fabrication shop in a neat and orderly fashion and report any shortages, faulty
•  Make product/material decisions
•  Order material as required using company PO’s and record project file numbers when applicable
•  Develop and maintain familiarity with our modular display systems
•  Assist in estimating project labour and material costs
•  Have a basic knowledge of electrical work
•  Be able to travel and work as with Installation specialist to set up tradeshow booths.

You will represent Nexus in a professional and dignified manner at all times; both in dress and how you address clients and colleagues. You will be hardworking, professional and have superior customer service skills.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Experience in cabinet making, millwork or fabrication is a MUST
• A drivers license with a clean driving record is a MUST
• Able to lift  heavy objects
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Good memory and strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Computer knowledge an asset
